Welcome to Pathways

Pathways Support and Community Association (PSCA) offers second and third stage accommodation and support for those who are committed to maintaining an abstinent lifestyle and wish to move towards healthy independent living.

Once you are living within one of our range of properties, we provide support and guidance through individually tailored support plans, one to one sessions and weekly groups. Our clients are able to work through their early experience of abstinence together and to learn to utilise a support structure that will be available to them long after the treatment programme.

Our range of properties means that there are options to move on later into flats and more independent living – providing a long term journey to an independent and fulfilled life.

First Steps

If you’re looking for housing, with support to strengthen your recovery and develop your future, you’ve reached the right place. We provide housing for single individuals (not couples or families) who wish to maintain an abstinent recovery. You’ll usually stay in one of our shared houses – fully furnished, with your own private room and shared lounge, bathroom and kitchen – for between 6 months and 2 years (although there is no fixed time frame) – with an option to move on to one of our flats when you are ready to make the transition to more independence.

Our application and assessment process is simple and straightforward – and, subject to availability, we can provide housing within a very short space of time. Our offices and team are based in Weston – so right on the doorstep and easily accessible to give the support you need.

Our Mission!

Our Mission is to provide housing and support services enabling people to lead contented and fulfilled lives, free from all forms of substance dependency.

We also aim to work in partnership with other organisations to reduce the level of drug and alcohol dependency within the Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset regions, and the consequent damage to individuals, their families and the community.

SUPPORT

Support

Support is a short word that means so much to so many people. We’re person-centred – that means we have, at the heart of everything we do, an understanding that you are the best person to plan your future. Our job is to be there to talk to you – help you consider the options – support with the practicalities like filling forms, making applications and managing your time and resources. We all have days when we feel low and just need a friendly face and a listening ear.

Times of stress or family problems, that often are difficult to manage in the early stages of recovery. We’re here for these times, too, at the end of the phone – in a one to one meeting – or via the supportive groups sessions – whichever is best suited to you at that time.

Prefer to chat in person? You can call in during our office opening hours (click here for times) or make an appointment to come and have a chat.
